Caregivers play a crucial role in supporting people with mental health, including depression.  Not only do they provide the emotional support to people diagnosed with depression, they also have the potential to play a key role in the treatment alliance and watch out for warning signs of relapse.

This year, in the context of the WHO's focus on depression on World Health Day, the European Federation of Associations of Families of People with Mental Illness launches the Guide "Caring for someone with depression: caring for two?". The Guide can be shared with your patients’ family in order to support them in their journey supporting their loved one and ensuring their own self-care at the same time.
